We are pleased to announce that our Relief in Need (RIN) Small Grants Programme is now open for applications.
Each year we support community groups and charities working in or across Streatham, West Norwood, Balham, Tooting, Tulse Hill and Brixton.
In 2023 we awarded over £40,000 through our Small Grants Programme to local groups that are working to support individuals and create resilient communities in these areas.
These included:
Youth music charity Kinetika Bloco
South London Refugee Association
Furzedown Community Network
Bounce Theatre in Wandsworth
Local organisation Outings for Older South Londoners
St Matthew's FC
Tooting Community Kitchen
4th Streatham Sea Scouts
The purpose of this programme is to provide funding to local organisations and groups who support residents in need in the Ancient Parish of Streatham. We have a vision of local communities that are resilient and sustainable, creating good places in which to live and grow older.
With this in mind, applicants should consider and be able to demonstrate how their project fits within our values.
Values
The right of everyone to live with dignity and as far as possible, independently.
The right of everyone to have a decent home
The importance of community in enriching people’s lives
Communities with respect for and integration of older people
The closing date for applications is Friday 6 December 2024.
If your group/organisation and its work fits with our interests and criteria, please complete the online application form here.
